Static website

This is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages. All content is served as plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files. No server-side processing of visitor data occurs.

Third-party services

External services referenced by this website:

• Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) — used to display current weather conditions in Varna on the homepage. This request is made from your browser directly to the Open-Meteo API and does not include any personally identifiable information. Open-Meteo does not set cookies and does not track users. See their terms.
• LinkedIn profile badge — The Experts and Contact pages include a LinkedIn profile badge widget. The badge script (served from platform.linkedin.com) is blocked from executing by this site's Content Security Policy, so no data is sent to LinkedIn from your browser while visiting BIIP pages. LinkedIn (Microsoft) operates its own privacy policy.

Links to external platforms

Several pages link to content or communities hosted on third-party platforms. We do not embed or load scripts from these platforms; links only activate when you click them. Each destination applies its own privacy policy.

• Interactive games (Lovable) — Some projects are hosted on Lovable (*.lovable.app). Clicking a link takes you to Lovable's platform, which operates under its own privacy terms.
• Facebook / Meta — The publication Politica Internaţională Simplu links to a BIIP Facebook Page. Meta processes data in accordance with the Meta Privacy Policy. As co-administrators of that Page, BIIP and Meta share joint responsibility for Facebook Page Insights data under GDPR Article 26.
• Social sharing buttons — Article pages include optional sharing buttons (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp, Email). These are plain hyperlinks; they do not load external scripts and do not set cookies. Clicking them will take you to the respective platform.

GitHub Pages hosting

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc. / Microsoft). GitHub may process IP addresses as part of its standard web hosting infrastructure. See GitHub's Privacy Statement for details.

Your rights under GDPR

This site is operated from Bulgaria (EU), so the General Data Protection Regulation applies. As BIIP does not collect personal data, most rights have limited practical scope here. You nevertheless have the right to:

• Request confirmation of whether we hold personal data about you
• Request access to, correction, or erasure of any such data
• Lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg) or the supervisory authority in your country of residence
